Happy Valentines Day (super early!) The other day I was so tired and could not keep my eyes open and we still had lots of hours in the day left, so before we lost light I set up a mini "momtography" session. The kids weren't as excited as I was about it, but I got some fun pictures!

For almost 2 years we have been saving our coins in our Florida jar to go see Winter the Dolphin. We are going to see our brother in law graduate from college and will also be able to hit DisneyWorld! We saved $114.27, luckily daddy is covering the difference- We leave February 2 and come back on the 12th. This will be Penelope's first plane ride, wish us luck!

Penelope's First Oreo. She loved it, too bad she only got one!

Penelope is taking a sippy cup! Once she figured it out there was no stopping her!

We went on the best date ever in my option with Joey and Sabrina Vail 2 weekends ago. I have wanted to go paint pottery (without kids) forever! And I finally convinced Stephen to take me! I even convinced him to paint me a soap dish! Yeah! We then went and had sushi (I ate chicken). I love how our pottery turned out and I will treasure my soap dish forever! I don't think I will be able to convince him to go with me again, but I'm definitely going back!

So I'm a bit of a nature lover, always worried about animals and trees dying. I tried the vegetarian route as a short stint in the 7th grade- I didn't last more than a few months. I used to raise baby mice after rescuing from the jaws of the family dogs. And pigeon eggs I would hatch them after my cousin had shot all the mamas out in the shop at my grandpa Beck's house. I have inadvertently (ok maybe pretty intentionally) taught my children that everything has feelings and that we need to respect all things; trees, animals, furniture, etc. So now when I feed my kids grapes they are so overwhelmed with feelings for the "baby grapes" that they just cannot eat them. So instead I find them stashed in "safe" places all over my house. Oh my gosh, I love my kids...

We are having a baby!! July 7th is the due date. Penelope stopped nursing on her own back in November, so I got curious and took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. I wasn't feeling well and thought maybe I was indeed pregnant and took another test which was negative, so I chalked it up to lupus sickies/flare. Deep down I still thought maybe pregnant, but went about life. I had to do some blood work for lupus check up stuff so they also did a prego blood work test before Christmas as well. And sure enough I was pregnant, just not sure how far along. Today I finally had an appt with the only OB in town that agreed to see me due to the Lupus. (My lupus is not a big deal, although others' may be, but I have not ever had any complications other than joint pain, mouth sores, and inflammation.) and Surprise! BIG baby pops up on the ultrasound screen. 14 weeks and 5 days. Due date July 7th. We have a family reunion planned for the Hunt side on the 4th of July and I'm hoping to swing it somehow... :) The kids are excited and my grandma is nervous about the taxes the baby will have to pay when it grows up.

Penelope started walking today to her daddy. She did take a step yesterday at the clinic when she was getting blood drawn (she's anemic). But I chalked it up as a fluke and then Stephen got her taking some slow and unsteady steps to him tonight. Now my baby really isn't a baby anymore!

Cabin Fun! We finally made it up to the cabin on the 28th after Stephen was feeling well enough to drive up there. We left on the 2nd and had a great time as usual! Above is Beck and his huge ice sicles.
Some Monopoly playing on the ipads... extension cords strung all over the cabin to keep the games going...
Beck put together his Harry Potter lego set
 Paisley sneaking Doritos
Me sneaking in playing on my phone and checking FaceBook

Penny eating and eating and eating.
Celebrating the New Year 2013! (Slightly early at 9pm)
Penelope was not too fond of sledding or being cold outside, but Paisley LOVED her snow cave her daddy built!
