Merry Christmas to all! Stephen Ashton family run down of 2013. Stephen Ashton has traveled a lot for work and always seems to text home and say "I wish I had brought you guys with me!" But he still loves what he does as a financial planner. He serves with the Young Men at church and he loves that as well. Korbi is busy at home keeping kids alive and her house somewhat clean. She still makes and sells crafty items to stay sane. Beck is almost 8 and will tell you "I get baptized on February 15th." He has found a new love for the Seattle Seahawks, much to the delight of his father. He even shares in the few days of depression following a loss. He is still involved in break dancing and he continues to enjoy it. Paisley is 5 years old and loves school and is reading. She loves to color and draw and is usually carrying around a notebook and writing utensil. She enjoys gymnastics and her piano lessons. Penelope will turn 2 the day after Christmas and also loves to draw and color like her older sister. She also loves to antagonize her mother and new little brother, Remington. Remington joined the Ashton Family in June and has been such a delight and has everyone wrapped around his little precious finger. He gets his picture taken almost daily. We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

We may never get home... But the kids have been troopers! 

We have had such an awesome time in Hawaii courtesy of Bob and Ann as a Christmas present to their entire damily last year. We spent 10 glorious days playing at the hotel pools, digging on sand at the beach, surfing, and having a great fun time with cousins! We ate Thabksgiving dinner at a yummy pizza place. We also spent about an hour at the walk in clinic for Remington and his croup diagnosis on Thanksgiving.  We left with Penny it and Paisley soon developed a cough as well. Beck was sick with a high fever and tummy ache the day of the Seahwaks game but he wouldn't miss that for the world and roughed it out! We had sooooo much fun and are on out last leg of out journey. Exhausted is an understatement. We took the red eye flight out of Hawaii and are currently on a 4 hr lay over in Los Angeles. 

 She's not even 2 years old yet! I'd like to think she's a coloring/writing genius. ;) I taught preschool or a while and most 3/4 years old don't hold their writing utensil like that yet. I'm pretty proud. Don't burst my bubble, I'm convinced she's special and this is awesome, no matter what you think or say!!! :) And she's been doing it for months! She loves to color and/or draw and write. Even if it is on my walls...

Remington rolled over on Sunday the 17th. I wanted to cry. There's no stopping him now! He's growing sooooo fast! I've been pushing him back from rolling over for like 2 weeks but I was distracted and doing Paisley's hair and PLOP! He did it.... My baby boy is getting big. 

Paisley "mom, you look like you're 51."

Me "I look like I'm 51?!?"

Paisley "yes"

Me "ouch, that's mean."

Paisley (concerned look on her face) "no! You LOOK 51, I didn't say you WERE 51."

Oh wow.
