Penelope is growing up so fast! She started crawling a few days before she turned 9 months old and eats pretty much everything in sight. She still hates baby food, so she eats lots of chicken, toast, beans, and avocado just to name a few. We just got our new baby gate in the mail and installed the heavy duty thing yesterday and it has kept her in so far. :) She is such a joy and a sweet sweet baby except when she is teething and she's a holy terror. She gets a fever for about a week and then after the tooth or teeth break thru she gets a cold with lots of runny snot boogers. Yeah. what. a. joy. Other than her poor suffering thru teething she seems to be surviving us and our never ending kisses and smothering of love because she is just so darn cute!

Lots of firsts at the beginning of September. Beck's 1st day of 1st Grade! DO I really have a 1st a 1st grader?!?!?!
We actually had to drive the RV to school on his first day because the blazer broked down at the sand dunes the night before and Stephen needed my van to drive to work in Othello because he had leant out his car to a family for their vacation. So THAT was interesting to say the least. But Beck thought it was great!
Beck and his teacher Miss Candace. He LOVES Miss Candace and likes to keep her happy :)
Isn't it cute? His feet don't even touch the ground...
Paisley had her 1st dance class of the year. Her and her friend Janell are in the same class.
Paisley's first day of her 4/5 Spanish class was on Wednesday and I must say that her outfit was my favorite! I gave her strict instructions of NO PAINTING!

She was pretending to be shy until she saw her assistant teacher Miss Cristina. I forgot to get a picture with her and Miss Marni her teacher :(
I actually have a love/hate relationship with the school year. I love that my kids enjoy it and I love watching all their activities and performances, but I hate the driving back and forth every day all day. The monotonousness of it. And I know that it's just beginning :( I have a neighbor, Gale, who has her granddaughters that live with her and they are in some of the same classes and we car pool and that has helped out a a lot and she is amazing.
