Every year about this weekend Stephen goes to the motorcross in Seattle. beck has gotten to go with him the last few years and they go with lots of friends and family. Beck says, "it was not so cold. It was really fun and there was this thing that shoots of fire. I got to take lots of pictures, but I didn't get any cotton candy because dad wouldn't let me. Ryker was very nice and fun to go with."

27 weeks!
We decided not to find out what the sex of the baby is- did I already blog about this? Stephen thought it would be fun to have it be a surprise and exciting. I told him that my labor is exciting enough- I had the ultrasound on Valentines Day and went to the appt alone and barely made up my mind when I walked in to not find out. It was a pretty agonizing 30 minutes. I really wanted to know. I tried peeking, I thought I could tell, but changed my mind on boy or girl parts I thought I saw like 6 times, so I just stopped trying. Happy Valentines Day to Stephen! I didn't find out! I thought it would drive me insane but after I left the appt it hasn't been so bad. I made a baby quilt and the baby book. For the first little bit this baby will have mostly gender neutral things- you can't really make girl things look boyish, so lots of greens and browns and greys and yellows. Even some really light colored aqua. And foxes, for some reason I am really into foxes....

Here I am at 25 weeks and a few days. I don't feel as big as I did with the previous babies, of course I am big, but I don't feel as big! I haven't been able to weigh myself to compare because our scale is busted. I feel pretty good. My joints and muscles hurt and I've had a good amount of lupus flares ad canker sores, but other than that the nausea seems to be gone and my energy level isn't too bad! Excited for baby #4! Boy or girl, we are still waiting to be surprised and I am trying to be as prepared as I can.

Happy #5 birthday to our sweet little beauty. Hard to believe you are getting so big and headed off to kindergarten next year. I love to hold you, and wipe your tears. I know that you don't like kisses, but your hugs are the best! Rainbow is your favorite color, although you don't like the color orange. You love to eat strawberries and Smarties candies. Chops and cheese from Taco Bell and spaghetti noodles with "sprinkle cheese." (Parmesan cheese) You enjoy wearing your rain boots and your Toms. You are a talented little dancer, although you would rather stay home and play My Little Ponies. Riding your bike longer distances than 2 blocks still makes you crazy ad you love to carry around your notebook and fill it with marker writings and drawings. You are so kind to others and are quick to share your things to make others smile. Also very quick to tattle on your brother or turn Penelope into a "binky monster" by giving her all her binkies at one time. We love you out precious little Paisley, continue to be kind, thoughtful, and always full of spunk! Happy birthday Pais!

Middle of the night up at the cabin for Spring Break, Beck crawls into bed with me and says, "I'm going to sleep close to you because I barely get to hang out with you so much because I'm always at school, but now I get the whole week."

Well, who can argue with that and I wrap my arms around him and he falls back asleep.
