Beck was trying to convince me that he needed to take 15 or so movies with us on our trip to Idaho for Thanksgiving. I told him that he could take 3 only. He said, "come on mom be nice." I said, "be nice? I am nice," and he said "I know that you have more nice inside of you mom, a lot more nice."

The 1st grade class and Kindergartners at AIM recited the Preamble to the Mayor of Moses Lake
And then all the adults signed their ballots
Us and "Mr Mayor" of Moses Lake.
and dropped them in the drop box.
It was an exciting election year this year with a candidate that created some more buzz than usual. Very family oriented and many views and ideas that I sided with. Mitt Rommey ran for the President of the United States against President Obama. And although he didn't win and it was quite disheartening I will get up and continue my day and be the best American that I can be and continue to strive to help those around me and live my American Dream. It was fun to get all the kids excited about the election process and "letting their voice be heard!" It was an election year that I will not forget.

One of my best purchases ever is this huge magnet board at kid level that I have on my wall in the hallway right off of the kitchen. Penelope will sit there and play while I am making dinner or cleaning up dinner and it keeps her from digging in the house plants or falling down the stairs. Best $50 I ever spent!
This year I made Paisley, cousin Piper's, and Penelope's peacock costumes and I had a lot of fun doing it. It cost more than I had imagined, but they were definitely unique!

Beck wanted to be a black ninja and we already had the costume, so double yeah!
For school KOrtni wore Stephen's costume of Ceasar and I was Cleopatra.

First we went to the ward Trunk or Treat and then back home for some quick pictures on the porch that I had to have! We waited for the cousins to go Trick or Treating around our neighborhood.

The highlight of Beck's night and probably his whole year was one house had a Star Wars movie set up and they grabbed a light saber and darth Vader came out of the smoky fog machine in the garage and they "fought" him off to get their candy. Beck couldn't believe it and his face was priceless. He could've stayed there all night fighting Darth Vader.
Stephen humored me and let us get a family picture at AIM's Halloween Carnival. All in all a good and family fun Halloween this year!
