Well, it happened. Penelope is 8 months old and she fell off the bed. I feel horrible. sadness. She only cried for a bit, but it was at least 2.5 feet.

Tonight is the first time I have left Penelope for longer than 30 minutes... Wish me luck! I left her with Stephen....

Grant County Fair came and went. The kids got to choose two rides and we took cousin Ashton with us and the boys got lucky and rode a third ride.

Cotton candy for $4 and $5 snow cones! Yikes! It's all part of the fair!
Paisley entered a decorated block and got a white ribbon from a mean ol judge that thought "come on mom you can't help your child." I guess she did such a good job that they judged it like MOM did it and not a talented 4 year old ;)
I entered the yellow. grey, black & white quilt.
and some of my garden glass flowers that you can't tell what they are laying on that shelf, but I got "top blue adult" whatever that means and won $5 :)
Beck got a blue ribbon on his Bionicles that are the organce and black and red ones above his head on the shelf.

 $1 ice cream! Yeah!

We got to walk around with Grandma Ann and Bobby boy the night that we went to the fair.

$8 to "ride" inside the bubbles on the water. Kids said it was super fun, but their favorite was the $10/person elephant ride! Best part of the fair Beck said.

I was glad that Ashton went with us because Beck got super brave and went on a ride that he otherwise wouldn't have even considered and he loved it so much that he went twice!

Paisley wanted to go on the Strawberries so much, but right before her turn a kid threw up, so they shut down the ride, so she chose the carousel instead.

The summer is winding down and these last weeks we have been busy traveling. This week we spent 3 days at the aquatic center and for some good swimming time in! This is the first time the kids for ice cream at the pool after I had been delaying it all
summer long. Penelope loves the water and the older two have been more adventurous swimming in "the deep." Beck treading water and Paisley just hanging on to the wall. Beck even did the body board and had a blast! I can't believe how quickly the summer has flown by!
Paisley was in a photo shirt for a local clothing line called Bonbos Fashion. They took pictures of the girls at the fairgrounds. Penny got to wear her fair attire and then after we were all done we made the animal rounds and watched the cousins show their sheep.

I have a new obsession. I absolutely LOVE making these. I know I shouldn't be posting them on the Internet, but I AM selling a few on my Facebook page Facebook.com/sKorbiAshtonDesigns they are kind of all very precious to me, it seems silly to be so protective of something, but I feel like they are my very own design and therefore I don't like getting things stolen from me, ya know? But I have no control over what people copy/do, I don't know why I feel so special that I think that I am immune to being copied. I have seen other "glass garden flowers," but I feel these are unique. I will get ripped off, but I just need to be ok with it and keep on creating! So for now I wants to document my current workspace... :)

Paisley always runs and grabs a big stack of books when she sees Maimi Dawn or Papa Goose sit down on the couch. She loves it when they read to her.
Penelope eating Al's Pizza crust for the first time and enjoying it thoroughly until I took it away.
Al's Pizza is the best! And I love that we get to eat there when we go to Burley, even for quick trips.
Most of the cousins and Britni who had to be in the picture because Baby Keema was asleep.
Mimi and Paisley, Aunt Jana and Beck and Korbi and Penelope
My kids with their great grandma Mimi
Grandma Mimi and I with the glass garden flowers that I gave her.
My favoritest Grandma MIMI and I!
Beck and Paisley went on a tractor ride baling hay with Papa Goose and Penny got to jump in for a picture.
Stephen was up at a Scout Camp Encampment with the Young Men because he is the Stake Young Men's President, so I decided to take my kids to Burley to stay for the week and visit family. The trip always goes by way too fast, but I am glad that I get the opportunity to go. On my way down I also stopped in Middleton (Caldwell, next to Boise) to visit with my friend Amy Bowers Davis who recently moved back there. Amy and I grew up together. She made me and the kids dinner and we got to visit for a little over an hour before I needed to get to driving again. It takes me about 9 hours driving time to make it to Burley.
