We have moved in...

I am here at our new house cords everywhere, empty boxes, typing in a kid sized rocking chair in front of a computer located about knee level on a Hope chest because Stephen and I are at a standstill on where my computer gets to go. We have two computers right now, but mine has his "shows" recorded on it, so he thinks that it needs to go in our bedroom and I have to kindly remind him that it is mine because he gave it to me for Valentine's Day 5 years ago. So we are moved in. most rooms are put together, the only room left is my craft room which is a disaster. I love this house and I love that my daughter sleeps in her bed all night and I love the view. And I will love when I get to sit and type a bunch of thoughts and post some pictures later, but I gotta get on the road to go pick up Ashton and drop off Paisley so I can get to school....

I have awesome friends....

We have had a lot going on lately, like most families, but it just seems like the last month has been one thing after another and before I knew it it was time to move. I feel like I have been packing forever, but I just kept turning around and there was more and more to pack. We were supposed to be in our house today, but like all "closings," it didn't happen. I don't know why I get my hopes up.... but it looks more like Friday, but with Halloween parties, school, Cambodia, travels, Salt Lake unpacking, and getting lesson plans ready for November, the 2 extra days didn't seem like that much of a blessing. I wanted to get in today and move my closets and special pictures over before the men came with their dirty feet and clumsy hands (although much appreciated dirty feet and clumsy hands) to move the boxes and then I could have had my closets and some of my kitchen put together before the majority came after late afternoon, but now we have to pack it all in the garage so we can get the carpets cleaned and the house clean. I wouldn't have been ready for it all anyways, I guess that is one way to look at it! And then Jenica and Bethany arrived this morning and with the help of Amber watching some kids, look what we accomplished!!! So now I feel ready; Bring on the Move!!!
You wanna know the sad part? That is like 1/8 of my crap....

Saying Goodbye

Bob and Ann flew to Cambodia last night and are actually still on the plane probably for the rest of the day. We are excited and sad at the same time. Excited for this new adventure and sad that 18 months seems like forever! This picture is not of all the grand kids, but a few of them. We all drove to Salt Lake to spend a few days with them before they left. We went to the zoo, temple square, the Discovery Center, and a bunch of meals and rowdy hotel swimming. I got to stop and see my parents and some family in Burley on the way there and on the way back. Paisley all bundled up in the zoo.
They had this cool sculpture at the entrance to the zoo, the water ran over the ball as it spun and the kids kept making it change directions. And yes, there was a moment where Beck leaned over and drank the water. This is what it looks like after the Ashton's leave a restaurant...I love the Salt Lake Temple. Stephen and I got married there 6 years ago. I have always known that I wanted to get married there. Stephen's parents got married there as well as both of our grandparents.
My two handsome men....
We also went to a Discovery Center and Beck pretty much stayed at this water area the whole time.Does anyone know what type of plant/flower this is? It is all over the temple grounds and I just love it!
So all in all we had a great weekend and were excited to see everyone together. The only one we were missing was Mary, she had to stay back for the Primary Program. It was a fun time and we can't wait to start Skyping Bob and Ann in Cambodia!

Just a peek at what it's like to eat dinner with the Ashton's at a restaurant. We took up the whole back room.... :)

Field Trip and the Dentist...

Beck had a class field trip to the pumpkin patch on Tuesday, luckily I am his teacher, so I got to take a lot of pictures.... Ashton, Beck, and Piper are pretty sure that they own the place...Here is the whole class and then Mr Beck with his prized pumpkin

On Monday Beck had some major dental work done. Wow, we floss as much as possible now. 2 front tooth crowns, 6 cavities, 4 sealings, and he got put all the way under. He was such a trooper. After it was done, I tried to get him to go pick out a prize at Wal-Mart, but he just wanted to go home and sleep.... But after 2 hours he was bouncing off the walls and we were able to drive to Othello and take Stephen cupcakes at work for his birthday. Happy Birthday honey! #32 ain't bad, but I guess I am not 32 yet. ;)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is clean up time....

Moving day is Oct 28th. We are moving to a house over by Pelican Point. I thought it was in Pelican Point, but I have heard people say it is "in between Pelican Point and Dune Lakes in the old neighborhood." I am excited about the move, not excited about moving and packing, but excited about the house. Not excited about leaving our ward and not excited about how small the backyard is, but this will be a new adventure and hopefully it turns out well. I have a good feeling, but if the world were run on good feelings.... ;) I have been packing for what feels like 2 weeks and we have another week to go. I pack a few boxes a day and then in between gymnastics and teaching, I pack some more. But it feels like I am getting no where. I have let the house go to trash. I haven't cleaned bathrooms, or vacuumed. I figure, "what's the point?" I am using all my time to pack, pack, pack, and we have so much crap!!! And half the crap is already being stored in Bob and Ann's garage! It's scary all the crap we have. Major yard sale next summer is all I can say! Because by then I will probably have even more crap....

I hope we can find room for a garden in the backyard, and the deer don't eat it...
