Stephen took Beck with a bunch of other dads and friends to the Supercross in Seattle. Stephen and his brothers have been going for years but this is the first time that Beck has gone. They left early Saturday an didn't make it back until 2:30am. Beck had so much fun as cant stop talking about it! He loved the racing and the "fire bombs." He got pictures with "pretty girls" and showed them his break dancing skills. Paisley, Penelope, and I stayed home and watched cousin baby Asher and I sewed some dresses for Paisley little gymnastic group. :)

ANd this tubby I could just squeeze all day. Penelope at 3.5 months.

And since she LOVES rainbows so much, a Rainbow Dress. and I did BUTTONS! Big step in sewing for me. I hold a sewing class at my house once a month, sometimes twice. I arrange for teachers to teach us a certain skill or make something and i have learned sooo much! I just love it and I appreciate those that donate their time to teach this great skill. I can say I'm obsessed. I've been quilting for a few years and made bags and such, but clothes scare me. Slowly but surely I am venturing into that unknown territory...
Paisley's Birthday dress that I made her. I had to wrap it in Rainbows and she insisted she close her eyes every time I tried it on her as I was making it because "mom, birthday dresses are sposed to be a surprise!"

Beck came home from school the other day insistent on having a Lemonade Stand, so we did. Our neighbor was their first customer. He really had no choice, Paisly was yelling at him to buy "juice" really loud and he couldn't really ignore her. They were so excited. They also made about $4, thanks to my friend Bethany who brought her kids over to visit.

My mom bought Penelope this fluffy little blanket bunny and I thought we'd never use it, but she LOVES it! I just leave it in her port a crib that she sleeps in and when it's time for her nap I lay her down, give her her binky, and lay her fluffy bunny/blanket next to her face cover her up and BAM! She's lowering her eyelids into slumber land! It doesn't work all the time, but it is quite wonderful. I love that she has latched onto something.

Easter 2012. Egg dying, Easter Hunts, Easter pics at Wal-Mart, Attempted Easter pics on Sunday morning, and Easter dinner in Othello. We only had an hour of church today and it was held at a different building. Our ward has only been meeting for 2.5 hours the past few months due to renovations on our chapel. And today no one could meet in our building at all so we had to squeeze into different building, hence the hour time of church instead of the usual 3.

Easter is a big deal. A really big deal. My kids, especially Beck, are obsessed with bunnies, baby bunnies. So that's why Easter is such a big deal. It took every bone in my body to resist buying them an actual bunny. They would have gone insane. But with new baby Penelope, I don't think I could raise a bunny too! And not with the coyotes behind our house!

Baby Penelope pretty much just sat back and watched the fun. Although she did make out with a car seat toy.

Looking at the "loot." P.S. My kids don't like jelly beans, weird.

Attempted Easter attire family pics before church that ended up making us late. As usual.

Easter egg hunt in Othello after dinner. Paisley was estatic that there were Smarties all over the ground. That girl loves her Smarties.

And it took Beck every muscle in his body to stop for a picture for fear of missing all the eggs and candy, but he made off with more than enough, which I snuck a bunch out of both their baskets

and gave a bunch to their cousins-

Happy Easter 2012! So wonderful to know that He is Risen and that the Atonement is there for us and our loved ones. What a wonderful gift to know and receive. And how much more I appreciate and love this gift since I have had little ones of my own. They are so precious and loved.
We took an interesting Spring Break vacation this year to try and find all the old sites of some of Stephen's ancestry. A relative of Stephen's Grandma Verella, had this old black truck that once belonged to Nephi Fielding. Whom Stephen (Nephi) and Beck (Nephi) are named after. We also posed by the Yorgesen's old home where Ann was born in Darlington, Idaho. She was actually born in Shelly, but lived in the small town of Darlington.

The above home is the old home of Oscar and Marion. Paisley is named after Stephen great grandmother Marion. They had actually picked up the house and moved it to a different location, but after talking with people we found it!

This is the canal bank where Frans (Stephen's grandpa) would walk Verella (Stephen's Grandma) to school and where he asked her on their first date.

And their first date was to this movie theatre, although obviously remodeled since then.

The grave site of Nephi Fielding.

We stopped at the Lava rocks and did some cave exploring.

Todd and Dena's family and also Bob and Ann came with us.

And swung thru Rexburg where we actually celebrated Paisley's 4th birthday with Stephen's brother Joel and his family.

And a one night stop in Burley. My friend from high school, Anne Blauer, now Ringle, came to see us at the hotel swimming pool. She makes the cutest beaded socks for my girls!

Mom and baby Penelope.

Grandma Mimi and I!

Mimi and Penny

Paisley and the kids swam for quite a few hours and Paisley was beat!

All the cousins in Burley. Hanna, Piper, and Alizah were also visiting Idaho for Spring Break.

On the way back to Moses Lake we stopped at the Hagerman Fossil beds visitors center

and a quick freezing stop at Shoshone Falls in the Twin Falls canyon.

I used to hate "scenic detours" and "road trips," but now I really do enjoy them. The kids worked a lot on their "homework" and my favorite is all the diners that we eat at. I live the small town places. They are the best! SO hats off to another great road trip and some great family history found!
