I think it's funny. Different personalities. Paisley's piggy bank is on the left and has about $75 in it. Beck's is on the right and is empty. He spends the money before it even gets to the bank. He has even worked out deals of "credit" where I buy the item (currently Pokemon cards) and then he earns the money before I give them to him. I can hardly convince Paisley to spend a dime of her money. I wonder what Penelope and Remington will be like??

Our little Remington Soren is getting big! 11 months old! He has 3 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom and more are coming in.
He only weighs a little over 17 lbs and is still going strong with his army crawling. He can stand on his two feet while holding onto something with both hands, but hasn't taken any steps.
He likes his snacks and not so much baby food. Still won't take a bottle and is a champion at nursing. He has us all wrapped around his little finger, even Penelope, who is quite protective of him, "My Remmy!" but will sit on him a few minutes later, so he always remembers who is the boss I guess.
We just love him to stinking pieces and I can't believe we will be celebrating his 1 year birthday next month!

Paisley had to have another abcess tooth pulled. Poor thing. But she is pretty excited about another visit from the tooth fairy! She wrote her a note last night that she wanted to keep the tooth one more day to show her friends on the bus. She wrote another note tonight asking if she can keep the treasure chest that the tooth is in.

My kids have an awesome pediatrician. Hands down. She's amazing. Dr. Karen Lindberg is the best. Takes time with me, smiles and laughs with the kids, very knowledgable and concerned. Even with all these wonderful qualities, Penelope has never been very find of her. Downright hates the office and goes in a spiral when we pull up. Kicking, screaming, bawling and thrashing throughout the whole appt.
Today for some reason (maybe after going to so many appt where just Remington was looked at) it just clicked. She was nice to Dr Lindberg! She smiled at her!!! She laughed with her!!! She let her look in her ears and listen to her heart no problem! I was in awe. I wish I had taken video, but I did grab these quick pictures. So appreciative of a Dr to have such patience with my stubborn little one. It paid off and it paid off big time.
This is Penelope checking my eyes and ears like a Dr. with the cord of the baby monitor.

These little people are my life. They keep me on my toes and keep me wiping their boogery nose.
I will cherish this special Mother's Day
When I receive the best gifts in this month of May.
In all the right places where a clue was laid.
She made it work out just grand and gave me a helping hand. To read her words of love and know these angels were sent to me from above. The special hand made cards of happiness, showing love and respect and thankfulness.

I have this friend, her name is Bonnie McKay, 3rd from the left. She just had a baby a week ago from this picture. Sabrina on the end is holding brand new, Brayten.
This friend, Bonnie, is moving. Super sad face. It takes me a bit to get attached to people. I don't know why, I'm weird. But just as I was totally hanging on to this friend, due to how incredibly awesome she is, their house sold (which they have been waiting for it to sell for over a year) and they are moving back "home" to southern Idaho. Jerome to be exact, 30 min from my hometown of Burley. I don't know why I am so emotional about it. Hopefully I can stop in and see her when we drive to Burley sometime, but I feel somewhat slighted. That's not really a fair word, but wherever the McKays go or have been the people they are with or will be around have been/are blessed. They are just good people. Always jumping to help others, constantly making sure if there is anything they can do for you. Funny, fun to be around. Just solid, good people. People that I will miss. I hope if I ever move someday, that people will think of me at least half of what I think of Bonnie McKay. Best wishes McKay family. Brylee, their daughter, will always be one of my most favorite people in the world. That girl is gonna move mountains with her spunk.
It's warm again and we have walked to the bus more with the two older kids. Penelope takes her back pack and says "me bus? Bus?" Nope, sorry little one. Not just yet. A few more years. A few more years we will endure your tantrums at home and snuggle watching Mickey Mouse and "ooby doo." (Scooby Doo) a few more years of grocery shopping together at walmart watching you stand on your top toes to throw in yet another package of Oreos and run happily to the nail polish section to pick out yet another bright colored $1.97 polish. It will go by too quickly and I will cry as I watch you climb the big steps of the bus. But for now, stick with me, climb back into the stroller and let's walk around the block again and pick up whatever rocks you want to take home with us.
