Paisley's Room

I made some cute little clown booties, does anyone have a baby clown costume?

Anyways, I wanted to post some pictures of Paisley's room because really it is just waiting for her like I am. It's funny because she will probably sleep in the cradle I painted that's in my room for the first few months anyways, so why her room is ready and waiting I have no idea. All I need is curtains, which I found the ones I want, but am waiting for them to go on sale, I know, I'm cheap. :) I was scared about the color that I painted the walls because I hadn't ordered my bed set yet, but I painted anyways and just crossed my fingers, luckily the match is close enough. And yes, those are all shoes and clothes, the funny part is, the shoes are only shoe sizes 1 and 2, besided the white cowboy boots, and all the clothes are only up through 6-9 months. That's what I get when I have a great sister and sister-in-law with 3 girls a piece and willing to share. Plus the fact that I had a great baby shower and lots of good friends and family AND I can't control myself and buy buy buy anyways. Just today when we were in the Tri-cities I bought her another outfit. Oh, to think of the money I could save.....

The good news is that I haven't gained any weight in 2 weeks. A few weeks ago when I had gained 4 lbs in 1 week I think that I made my midwife a little nervous. I figure this Paisley is going to be big anyways, so why not eat just one more box of Peeps? Or have another donut. My neice Alizah makes it very easy because every time she comes over she knows that I have donuts and if I don't she says, "Kiki, let's go to Wal-Mart and buy donuts."

I am now officially 38 weeks and 4 days. If she comes when Beck came, it's be Tuesday the 1st of April, so Happy Fool's Day to me! haha! If she's not here by then I get induced on the 3rd because my midwife is going out of the country, so we'll see how that goes. Stephen is even very anxious. I feel like every hour or two he says, "so are we gonna have a baby yet?" Sometimes I feel like kicking him in the ..... I worked pretty hard at the school the last 2 weeks, but didn't go back Thursday or Friday to sub for people, but I plan on going back in on Monday for my 3/4 class. I figure if I'm still prego I might as well work and get some more money in my pocket. :) And to reward myself, instead of saving, I am going to buy myself a new sewing maching. Just a cheapy from Costco to get some different type of stitches. Because I promise I am going to use it because 2 kids can't take up that much time, right? *In case anyone didn't catch that, it's sarcasm.....

I also wanted to congratulate the cast of the Stake's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. It truly was amazing and we have some great talent in our community. I went and saw the dress rehearsal on Tuesday, for fear I'd have a baby and miss all the chances to see it, but I was still prego on Thursday, so I went and saw it again. I really didn't hink that it could get any better, but it did. I really enjoyed it and thought that it was such a great performance.
Well, here's to me and keeping my spirits up, I know that there are people out there that go over their due date and I congratulate them full heartedly, but that's not for me, and I just REALLY REALLY REALLY want to have this baby, so feel free to mention me in your prayers. And yes, I've tried it all, the only thing I've not done is drank the castorol oil stuff, I just can't bring myself to do it. Cartwheels and handstands don't work either, they just make me see stars...

The room is really cute. It's nice to read someone else's blog who is playing the waiting game too. Misery always enjoys company, right? I've decided that I am already going over. It's funny because my doctor actually went out of town yesterday for the next week. So if I don't go over I am going to end up having someone else deliver my baby. Oh well, right!? Good luck! I can't wait to see pictures of your little girl.

You are so dang cute doing cartwheels in the middle of the road with a donut in your hand and peeps on your mind. You look SO good and I really mean that. Add my name to the list that can't wait for you to join the crew of more than one kid...

LOVE her room! She'll have clothes you never wash because she never wore them! Yeah for great sisters and hand me downs.
