Penelope is 6 months! Half a year! crazy I tell ya. She had her 6 month check up today and she went in a very sick little girl, although you would never guess it. She is such a happy smiley baby that you can never tell that she is sick! 2 months ago when I took her in for her 4 month she had a double ear infection and I had no idea!
Her stats are:
weight- 16 lbs 4 ozs
height- 26"
head circumference- 17.5"

Sisters. us girls have been home without Beck and Dad this last 2 days- the boys went to Idaho for a quick trip for Stephen for work. Paisley shared her doll with Penny.

 Salute! She loves her medal and has worn it for 2 days straight! Beck just got a medal for TBall, so now Paisley feels part of the clan.

Paisley "competed" at her Fun Meet at AIM this past Saturday. Her and Beck also performed with their dance classes. Beck with break dancing and Paisley with Ballet and tap. Stephen has been in Cali for the past two weeks and drove all night and made it in time for their performances. Paisley has been doing a great job in gymnastics. She takes a class with little Austin and Janell on Tuesdays for an hour and half a week from Coach (Aunt) Kortni. These little girls progress quickly and Paisley enjoys it.

I just fed Penny her first rice cereal and then she had her first bath in the sink directly after. I wish I could wait forever to feed my babies food instead of just nursing. I think for me it's the "this means they are growing up and won't be babies forever" that is the hardest part. I don't like it one bit. Makes me so sad. I love how excited she was to eat the rice cereal and just gulped it down. I bathed both Beck and Paisley forever in the sink. Penelope hast rolled over yet on her own, but to me she is still getting big!

 

 The kids and I took off to visit my twin sister, Jakobi in Philomath Oregon after Stephen went on a business trip to California. It's about a 6 hour drive and it takes up about 8 hours. I believe this is the 3rd summer that we have done this. My kids are pretty good little travelers, even with a packed van of stuff for Aunt Jake!

 We dyed my hair and went to watch Jax play in a Tball game.

 And ate at the kids table in her living room.

And then sadly after 3 days we left for the long drive back home. We miss our cousins!

I walked into Tiffannis new salon last week and she decided it was time to cut Penelope's bangs- hanging waaayyyy too much in her eyes. So a quick little snip snip and Penelope's first hair cut was done! Beck had his hair cut at 4 months and his dark
curls turned strawberry blond into blond. I shaved Paisleys head at about 6 months because she was had no
hair on the sides and it was growing straight down the middle
and then she turned blond. Penny's hair has definitely lightened up a lot, but she's kept a lot of it, so I'm wondering if she will have nice thick hair like Becks? Only time with tell, but for now we stuck with a little trim of the the bangs. :)

Beck's last Tball game was tonight. Beck and I really enjoyed the season and hopefully he will be playing next year! He got a medal with his name
on it which he was pretty excited about!

I've been watching my niece Asher for a few days since my sister-in-law laid my bike down and got pretty banged up. We were at a Relief Society meeting with all my kids plus Asher trying to pay attention and contribute and I kept stopping Asher
from feeding Penelope the cereal she had in a bag. I turned around for a few seconds and turned back and Pent had shredded wheat cereal all over her mouth and in her mouth. After I had a small panic attack I took a few pictures. Penelopes very first food was shredded wheat from Her cousin baby Asher! :)

 Penelope's first time swimming in a swimming pool! We visited Maimi Dawn and great Grandma Mimi at their hotel when they came to Moses Lake and got to swim around.

 We took Mimi to Tri-cities to visit with her cousin, Carma. I always try and take a picture like this with my grandma Mimi. Well, not with that look on my face, but you get the idea.
