Goodbye!

Paisley has a projectile vomit problem... (I don't really know if that's what it is, but I've heard people call it that after she spits up all over me) After she eats it just comes right back up. Remember my trip to Mexico? Well, I didn't have one Mountain Dew while there and she still spit up everywhere, so I was convinced that the Dew wasn't the problem. Last week I went without any milk, and still the spit up flows freely, so in order to silence the well wishers, one more time I shall try the no Moutain Dew. I finished my last one off yesterday and today is the first day of no Mountain Dew for a long time! It's 11:33 AM and I don't think that I am going to make it. :) Just seeing the picture on the blog is killing me. :) So I am going to try this for a week or two and see if it helps poor Paisley and my laundry and if not then on to no Dairy, then no wheat and hopefully we find the culprit. At least if it's wheat or dairy I'll have my Dew to calm my nerves... ;)

You're so brave!!!! If it's any consolation, all my kids have reflux, no matter what I do or don't eat, they just have to grow out of it. you're laundry will be forever, and in the mean time I'll make you some punch!

Brynn had the same problem but she has grown out of it. It lasted a couple months. Hopefully Paisley will do the same, then you don't have to sacrifice the precious DEW!!! :)

I don't think I ever did find out the culprit of the problem, but I do know that no chocolate, dairy, or soda helped. Didn't solve the issue, but helped. It can't be that bad if you loose some extra calories right!? I'm trying to help you see the positive..

Must be the 2nd child syndrome! :)
Parker is horrible! I have to keep a bib on that kid all the time or I would be changing outfits ALL the time and not just a tiny little bib!

I very rarely eat chocolate or dairy and have a pop maybe once or twice a week and he still does it. I ate the same with Taylor and she never did....some kids just spit up alot more!
Good luck!

As a mother of three PROFESSIONAL projectile vomiters, I can only wish you the best of luck. I didn't have any Dew with Patrick, but I did with Jacob and Dean. It's just something they have to grow out of. It helped once I switched them to formula for reflux, although with the price of groceries these days, you're better off spending your money on laundry than formula!

It may have nothing to do with you and what you eat... Claire did that. She would spit up several times during nursing and even after, but she was still growing so the doc said it was normal and no cause for concern and that she would outgrow it, and she did, thankfully!!! Sooo... you may not have to sacrifice the dew or anything else! yay! I'd ask her doc what they think though.

SOrry but I have to say you could probaby give up food and anything and she will still continue to spit up. It's all dealing with her,and how her body functions. They have to grow out of it when their certain muscle develops more properly (don't know how to spell it) Ok, I know I am not a doctor, but it sounds good right?? Don't deprive yourself....just pray that she will grow out of it for a year... I delt with it for about 11 months......and there was a TON of laundry going on in my house.
Don't you love honest friends?????
