My first FINISHED quilt

Here are some pictures of the quilt that I made for my twin sister's baby girl to be. (due April 1st) I am so excited to see pictures of her cuddled up in it. I was quite proud of myself. My friend, Kellee, AKA quilter extraordinaire, made me take the binding off that I had done and just sew around the edges to give it a frayed look to match the flower in the middle. I have to admit that it was a good suggestion and plus the binding I had done looked like poop.

You should be proud of yourself - it's a beautiful quilt. And it's so nice that you made if for Jakobi. Hope Beck is feeling better - not much fun to have a kid that is throwing up. (Mine could never make it to the toilet or hit the bucket.)

Ok, I want to live near you. Maybe then all your talents can rub off on me. I love the quilt and that is one of the things I would love to learn to do, but I am always saying when I have a bigger place or more space then I will do it. I think a 2 bedroom apartment is not much room. Still, you are talented and good job. I hope Beck is feeling well and didn't pass it on to anyone else.

The quilt is beautiful. I was so happy to read about your trip to B-town and that J. Weldon is still going strong. What a truly great man. Tell your family I say hi. I guess we will miss you again if you were there for thanksgiving? Seriously, we are going to be like 30 years old with 4 kids a piece by the time we see each other. Hope things are well. Your kids are cute as ever.
