I resolve for the New Year to stop forgetting to use my fabric bags at Wal-Mart....

Hey, if you use the plastic bags, don't forget you can recycle them. Safeway and Walmart both have bins for used bags and at Lakeview we collect them and turn them into
Walmart and they pay us (PTA) for them. Try encouraging your (meaning readers of Korbi's blog)kids school to do the same thing or Korbi, have a collection area at the gym. It makes me feel like I'm doing something especially after seeing a picture of a beach in Hawaii that was covered in tiny bits of debris that was garbage carried through our waterways and ending up on their beach.
They showed a picture of a basketball where the underside was covered in barnacles and the current will carry this ball to this beach in Hawaii.
To look at this beach from a distance it looked like sand, but when you got up close you could tell it was trash!

I'm working on this one too. I've committed to never use plastic bags. Yesterday, I forgot my fabric ones. Oops. I loaded my groceries back in the cart after check out, then loaded them in the back of my car. They were rolling around everywhere!!
